NYSASBO offers webinars on a wide array of topics of interest to the SBO, school business office staff, Clerks, Treasurers, and even the Superintendent. Topics range from legal and tax cap issues, building aid and facilities planning, payroll and HR, and more.  Hot Topic & our SED Series of Webinars are offered free to members but are available to everyone for a nominal fee.  Members enrolled in webinars are eligible for continuing education credit when applicable.

  • Please take note of the webinar start time, which will generally be over the lunch period (11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.)

  • Continuing Education credits (CE, CPE or CTLE) are an estimate based on NYSASBO's assumed length of the presentation. We reserve the right to adjust credit depending on the final duration. Webinars lasting 30 minutes will receive .5 credit unless otherwise indicated. Webinars lasting the full hour will provide 1 credit unless otherwise indicated.

  • In order for us to issue Continuing Education credit, we may require that you pass a quiz following the webinar. This especially applies to webinars granting CPE and/or CTLE.

  • To receive continuing education credit (CPE / CTLE), all attendees must be individually registered in advance and logged in to the webinar using the unique registration code received prior to the start of the webinar. If you would like to register multiple people from the same company, please email Debbie at debbie@nysasbo.org.
