  • Continuing Education credits (CE, CPE or CTLE) are an estimate based on NYSASBO's assumed length of the presentation. We reserve the right to adjust credit depending on the final duration. Webinars lasting 30 minutes will receive .5 CE credit unless otherwise indicated. Webinars lasting the full hour will provide 1 CE credit unless otherwise indicated.

  • In order for us to issue Continuing Education credit, we may require that you pass a quiz following the webinar. This especially applies to webinars granting CPE and/or CTLE.

School district audits and new requirements for reserve funds

November 1, 2017

SPECIAL TIME: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Staff of the Office of the State Comptroller will present a summary of findings from school district audits over the past seven years and provide a description of Chapter 514 of the Laws of 2016 with new requirements for school districts to report on reserves.  Staff of the State Education Department will present the manner in which school districts will be expected to submit this information to the State Education Department as part of the Property Tax Report Card.
