Medicaid Claiming Still on Hold
Submitted by Steve on March 10, 2010 - 11:51pm.As NYSASBO reported in the fall, Medicaid claims by school districts are on hold until the Federal Government accepts New York's State Plan Amendment. The plan was initially submitted on September 30, 2009 but has gone through modifications based on a give and take between SED, the State Health Department, and the Federal Government. According to the final plan, expected to be submitted by March 18, 2010, school districts will be able to submit retro claims back to September 1, 2009. read more »
Medicaid - Billing Still on Hold, Compliance Plan Deadline December 1st
Submitted by Steve on November 3, 2009 - 11:17pm.In July, we brought to your attention that due to terms of a settlement reached between New York and the Federal government, the submission of claims for Medicaid eligible services provided prior to July 1, 2009 were suspended. It was also noted that billing would resume only when a new State Plan Amendment is developed by the State and approved by the Feds. read more »
Medicaid Claims Suspended
