The NYSASBO Job Match program is designed to facilitate the process of placing qualified individuals in school business official positions in New York State.
For a one time fee of $25, Job Match participants submit relevant employment information (experience, geographic region preference, salary requirement, etc.) to be entered into the Job Match database. Non-member fee is $50. When NYSASBO receives a notice of vacancy from a school district that wishes to participate in the program, a list of potential candidates will be generated by matching up individual qualification and preferences with district requirements. Participating districts are charged a $100 fee for the service.
Names will be maintained in the Job Match database until NYSASBO notes a change in employment for the candidate.
School districts also have the option of posting vacancies on the NYSASBO website or in The Reporter at no charge. An application deadline and salary or salary range are required for posting vacancies.
