For Active, Educational Associate, and Retired Associate Memberships...

By becoming a member, you will automatically join other business officials who have made us their primary source of information.  As a member you will receive our monthly newsletter, The Reporter, a Membership Directory, our Annual Report, reduced rate access to all our professional development offerings (workshops, conferences, etc.), and access to a network of professionals who understand exactly what the school business profession entails.

Other programs NYSASBO provides include access to professional registration, a job match program, and legal assistance should the need ever arise.

Active members include all persons engaged in the practice or instruction of school business management.  Only active members can vote in NYSASBO elections and serve as NYSASBO officers and committee members.

Active Membership Cost: 0.4% of salary per year

Educational Associates include full-time students OR part-time students not employed full-time in a school district.

Educational Associate Membership Cost: $50 per year

Retired Associates include former active members who, upon retiring, do not qualify for emeritus or honorary life membership.

Retired Associate Membership Cost: $50 per year

Associate Membership is available for those who do not meet the criteria of any of the above membership types.

Associate Membership Cost: $160 per year

For Business Associate Membership...

As a business associate member you will receive our monthly newsletter, The Reporter and a membership directory listing contact information for active business officials and other business associates. You will be entitled to advertise your services in various publications, enjoy the unique privilege of exhibiting at our annual conference, and gain access to a network of professionals who likely would use your services or product(s). Please read our Business Associate Relations Policy carefully for details.

Business Associates include those persons providing services or products to school districts.

Business Associate Membership Cost: $250 per year
