Chapter Recognition Program

The objective of the Chapter Recognition Program is to offer a guide to NYSASBO chapters in providing a well-rounded operation for the professional growth of its members. It is also a program for recognition of the individual chapter’s performance compared to a standard or benchmark.

Above all, the Chapter Recognition Program is a planning guide. It should be used as such in the planning period early in the chapter year and the chapter president or designee should review the results.

Each chapter is encouraged to participate in this program in order to ensure a good year of NYSASBO Chapter performance that will bring professional growth to its members.

Measurement of the proficiency of the chapter’s operations will be based on chapter reports, using the chapter recognition worksheet. Reports should be e-mailed to us or sent to the attention of the “Recognition Program” at the NYSASBO office, 7 Elk Street, Albany, NY 12207. Reports must be postmarked on or before the date due.

Full details are available in the Chapter Recognition Program Handbook.
