Call for Board of Director Candidates

Three Director seats and the position of President-Elect will be open for election at the 2010 Annual Conference in June. Three seats on the NYSASBO Board of Directors, each for a two-year term, will be open in July 2010. If you would like to be a candidate for one of these seats, you must request a Petition for Office form from NYSASBO.

To qualify as a candidate of one of these seats, you will need to be an Active member of NYSASBO and have a minimum of 25 signatures from other Active NYSASBO members. Petitions must be received by April 9, 2010. We also ask qualified candidates to submit a biographical sketch and headshot for publication in the May issue of The Reporter.

The position of NYSASBO President-Elect is also up for election. Candidates for this postion must submit the Petition for Office as well. In addition to meeting the eligibility requirements of other Board candidates, those seeking the position of President-Elect must have served on the Board of Directors for two years.
