Treasurer’s Workshop: The Treasurer’s Role in a Successful Capital Project
These regional workshops are designed by and for school district treasurers through NYSASBO’s Treasurers Steering Committee.
When your school district is involved in a capital project, what are your responsibilities? By attending this workshop, you will be ready to take on a project with renewed confidence. This workshop will cover: a brief overview of the process and the documents; setting up the books, allocating costs by project, accounting for retainage, tax exempt financing, handling change orders, closing out the project, and resources available to treasurers.
