NYSASBO publications are a major part of fulfilling our mission. Our publications provide essential knowledge, information about various events, and facilitate networking among school business officials and between school business officials and business associates offering important products and services to schools.

Business Associate members also have the option of electronically completing and submitting an advertising request using the Advertising Request Form.

The Reporter
NYSASBO’s primary publication, The Reporter offers insight into the issues confronting school business officials. It also covers Association affairs, spotlights of members and events. It is sent to members each month from September through May with a summer issue published in July. NYSASBO members who have articles published in The Reporter are automatically eligible for the Starfish Award.

The Membership Directory
The essential tool for any School Business Official who wants to connect with his or her colleagues, key New York State contacts, or with a wide range of business associates who supply products or services to school districts, the NYSASBO Membership Directory is printed and distributed to members once a year in September. An electronic, searchable edition is also available on the NYSASBO website. |
Additional Publications
In addition to The Reporter and The Membership Directory, NYSASBO also publishes an Annual Report, an Annual Conference Program, and the Summer Business Management Workshop Program, as well as several documents available for download for the benefit of members and the public interest.
