How do you proceed when your school district receives a tax certiorari? What are the school districts rights? General knowledge of the subject may reduce time spent by the school attorney in researching the process. Areas for discussion include time periods for recall, notification, bumping, and differences from instructional personnel reductions under Education Law.

This webinar will focus on information you need to properly report and claim your Special Education program's cost and reimbursement rates for this summer. Tracking of class size, salaries, fringe-benefits, transportation and mileage expenses, and students rosters will all be discussed. How this information is used to prepare supplemental schedules 10-16 will be reviewed.

Through the use of a sample school district, we will prepare closing entries and a sample ST-3. Using the completed ST-3, we will generate a set of GASB 34 compliant financial statements. This course will be hands-on, so bring a calculator with you.
