Modular Classroom Units For Sale
The East Stroudsburg Area School District is currently offering for sale ten (10) modular classroom units which are becoming available due to the completion of permanent renovations and additions to the Middle Smithfield Elementary School. New York Schools Insurance Reciprocal (NYSIR) is working with NYSASBO to offer a free Cyber Crime Seminar that addresses the issues, causes, and steps to reduce exposure arising out of the cyber crimes several New York State public schools have recently experienced. Presenters will be from the FBI & New York State Police Cyber Crime Units, J. P. Morgan Chase Bank, and the NYSIR Risk Management Staff. All seminars have registration at 8:30 a.m. and the program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with lunch following. read more »

Call for Board of Director Candidates
Three Director seats and the position of President-Elect will be open for election at the 2010 Annual Conference in June. Three seats on the NYSASBO Board of Directors, each for a two-year term, will be open in July 2010. As times change, professions evolve.
